LOVE GOD. LOVE EACH OTHER. SERVE THE WORLD.
LORD'S SUPPER
If you visit with us on a Sunday, the Lord’s Supper will be included in our worship time. The Lord’s Supper reminds us of the gospel message of Jesus Christ and God’s saving grace through Him on the cross. The Lord's Supper also serves as a weekly re-commitment on our part to serve the God we so love. If you are visiting with us you can feel free to participate or you can just remain seated. This time is observed primarily for Christians to remember and renew the covenant they made with God when they were baptized. The piece of bread that we eat symbolizes the body of Jesus on the cross, and the grape juice symbolizes the blood that He shed for us. Again, simple emblems, but powerful in meaning! |
